Biography:
“Free-hand Pen & ink drawings of sailing ships; each is a one of a kind drawing based on historical records and drawn on the sea chart where the ship was last seen. I use a pen point nib of .013 inch and a layering technique I developed during 50 years working with pen & ink.
Inspired by duty with the USAF Air/Sea Rescue Service; I began drawing in Vietnam, sketching what I saw on my charts. By 1970, I was selling my pen & ink drawings in New Orleans. Over the years I’ve sailed on tall-ships and searched for shipwrecks.”
