Upon close examination, everyday life can be extraordinary. It’s the hidden humor, duality, and mischief in daily life that inspires Ann’s sculptural jewelry, infusing it with surprise. The unlikely juxtaposition of mundane objects in Ann’s work depicts an absurd miniature world. “Things just seem funnier when they are tiny,” says Ann.
Ann began partaking in the Coconut Grove Arts Festival in 1997. Since then Ann has missed only the year her son was born. In 2005 Ann won the 1st and 2nd place in Jewelry making at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival.
