Biography:
From an early age, I focused on painting and drawing, with my work composed mainly of still lives and portraits. The components of creating a composition were drilled into my head during my adolescent, enabling me to breakdown the natural and manmade landscapes in front of me. I don’t see buildings or cars, and instead I see lines, values, shapes, textures, foregrounds and backgrounds. In my jewelry, I replicate this simplified idea of what fills our space into pieces of jewelry. I aim to make pieces that appear different from every angle, creating illusions to question what is really in front of us.
