2011 VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
Volunteers are needed to staff the Coconut Grove Arts Festival® on February 19, 20, & 21, 2011. The Grove Arts Festival is the largest outdoor fine arts festival in the United States and is now in its 48th year with three fun filled days of fine art, food and festivities, and most of all, fun!
Festival Volunteers
Volunteers for the Coconut Grove Arts Festival® are from many different backgrounds including students, staff and faculty of schools and colleges, young professionals, retired persons, community groups and arts organizations. It’s a great event for couples and individuals to meet new people. No specific experience is necessary – only enthusiasm!
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities exist for people of all ages and interests and include:
- Zone Leader - Coordinating selected volunteers within specific areas
- Artist Support/Relief – Helping artists at their booths, making deliveries
- Merchandise – Assisting in the Merchandise booth with sales of Festival souvenirs
- General Volunteer – Work on various tasks, as needed
- Vintage Poster Sales - Selling Vintage Festival Posters

Volunteers are needed for the following dates and times:

Monday is Presidents’ Day, a federal holiday. All government agencies and schools will be closed.
Volunteer Benefits
- Every volunteer will receive the following benefits for working at the festival:
- Coconut Grove Arts Festival Volunteer T-shirt (one per volunteer/per day)
- Coconut Grove Arts Festival Souvenir Poster (one per Adult volunteer/per day)
- Adult Volunteers who work all three days (2 shifts each day) will receive a FRAMED Festival Poster
- Student Volunteers receive community service hours for their volunteer time.
- Free Admission all weekend
