“I am a Missouri based artist that specializes in furniture and lighting made from architectural and industrial salvage of the 19th century. Each piece is re-discovered, re-worked, and re-imagined to preserve relevance for what would otherwise be obsolete innovations of the past.”
By means of soldering, welding, and dry joinery I convert 19th-century machines into light fixtures using reproduction brass sockets, cotton wrapped cord and bulbs that were true to the late 1800s. Each conversion brings renewed function to Innovative, yet obsolete, machines of the past.
