“I started working with wood when I was 14 and have been working seriously for 9 years. I like to create different pieces, to explore designs, techniques, woods.”
From a very young age, Camilo began to discover the magic of wood. His grandfather had a small woodshop and his uncle is a well know harpsichord maker. After Camilo finished school, he learned the woodworking trade. He learned how to cut, glue, bend and understand wood, with the precision and detail that must be followed to build musical instruments. Camilo installed the machines that belonged to his grandfather’s workshop in the garage of his home, and then he began to work on his own projects.
