This is South Florida’s signature magnet high school, and since 1990 the Coconut Grove Arts Festival has provided a booth at the Festival so the school’s talented students may sell their work. The art is sold for $100 to Arts Festival patrons with $50 going to the student and $50 to the school. The partnership, developed by New World School of the Arts teacher Jim Hunter, has raised nearly a $100,000 for the school.
